Appeals Co-Counsel
ESTABLISHING LIABILITY IS CRITICAL IN A CATASTROPHIC PERSONAL INJURY CASE
In cases where the injuries are serious and extreme, the person injured may obtain representation by more than one attorney who divide the work and share the contingent fee. An appellate attorney may handle the legal issues before the trial court and the trial attorney handles the factual issues. By employing their talents in this way, the person injured in an accident receives skilled representation but pays the same contingent fee.

AUTO AND TRUCK ACCIDENTS CAN CAUSE TERRIBLE INJURIES
For example, people who have suffered devastating injuries in car and truck accidents can most benefit from the assistance of a team of lawyers that hold those involved responsible and establish the damage suffered. A car or motorcycle doesn’t stand a chance in a bad crash with an eighteen-wheel tractor trailer or drunk driver. Individuals can experience a wide range of injuries, including brain injury, spinal cord injury, broken bones, loss of vision, loss of hearing, permanent disfigurement, and death.
CONSTRUCTION ACCIDENTS
New York State has special provisions under the New York Labor Law that protect New York construction workers who are injured in certain construction-related accidents. For example, New York imposes liability against employers and property owners in cases involving falls resulting from defective scaffolding or lack of adequate safety devices. Injuries can be devastating, including spinal injury, brain injury, broken bones, amputation, permanent disfigurement, total disability, and death. Often, the key issue in such cases is establishing legal liability under the New York Labor Law.
